Hoy han llegado desde Roma, dos cámaras de la cadena de TV italiana STREAM. Quieren grabar el momento de la salida y yo les comento que como faltan todavía dos dias, que filmen la Ciudad de Las Palmas y la isla de Gran Canaria. A media mañana, les llevo al campo de golf "El Cortijo" donde se juega el Open de España para que graben un buen campo de golf español. Me encanta la idea que nuestras Islas Canarias se puedan promocionar en la Península y en el extranjero, en esta ocasión gracias a mi singladura.. A media mañana he pasado por el CIT (Centro de Iniciativas Turísticas de Gran Canaria) Jesús, su presidente, ha tenido una gran iniciativa: darme semillas auténticas de la Palmera Canaria para plantarla en los puertos que toque mi expedición en América. (Serán más de cuarenta puertos en 15 países) Me ha encantado su idea..! También me ha pedido que firme en el libro de la institución. He puesto lo siguiente: "Procedente de Roma, a bordo de mi pequeña embarcación "NUMANCIA" con la proa, las ilusiones y los sueños rumbo a las américas, paso por esta entrañable y queridísima tierra canaria, donde recojo semillas de la Palmera Canaria que plantaré, Dios mediante, en todos los puertos americanos que toque mi expedición"
