Tras despedirme de la tripulación del catamarán y de todos los amigos mallorquines que nos han atendido con tanto cariño me dispongo a zarpar rumbo a Ibiza. Antes, el entrañable Cónsul de los EE.UU. nos organiza una visita a un portaviones británico que ha llegado desde Afganistán y que se encuentra atracado en el puerto de Palma. El Cónsul se vuelca en su apoyo a nuestra expedición. El objetivo es intentar llegar al gran país que representa, y en consecuencia nos ayuda muchísimo. Desde su experiencia y amistad, me aconseja muy bien en muchos aspectos que son muy importantes en esta iniciativa. Los oficiales de la inmensa nave de guerra nos reciben con gran amabilidad. Nos invitan a visitar el barco y subimos a la pista de despegue donde hay dos helicópteros pintados de camuflaje. Sobre la cubierta, les entrego una bandera de España y otra de nuestra expedición que agradecen animándonos a seguir navegando y a conseguir un récord que califican “récord para la paz”. Esta es la unión de la mar. La unión entre los distintos países, culturas y religiones diferentes. Nuestra Expedición ha pasado hoy por la Gran Bretaña y nos sentimos orgullosos del trato y las palabras de apoyo que hemos escuchado de los marinos de guerra ingleses y que nos han emocionado a todos. Tras saludarnos muy cordialmente abandonamos la nave para iniciar nuestra singladura a Ibiza. Una avería en la “NUMANCIA” hace que tengamos que sacar la embarcación del agua y repararla. Chus hace todo lo que puede y finalmente zarpamos. Llegando a Ibiza la embarcación falla y no arribamos a puerto hasta las tres de la madrugada. Mañana habrá que reparar a fondo el pequeño barquito.

After saying goodbye to the crew of the catamaran and all the Majorcan friends who have taken care of us with as much affection I arrange to weigh anchor course to Ibiza. Before, the close Consul of the U.s.a. organizes a visit to us to a British aircraft carrier that has arrived from Afghanistan and that is berthed in the port of Palm. The Consul turns upside down in his support to our expedition. The objective is to try to arrive at the great country that represents, and consequently he helps us so much. From his experience and friendship, he advises me very well in many aspects that are very important in this initiative. The officials of the immense ship military receive us with great amiability. They invite us to visit the boat and we raised the airstrip where there are two painted helicopters of camouflage. On the cover, I give a flag of Spain and another one of our expedition that is thankful animating to us to continue sailing and to obtain a record that describes " record for peace ".
