Todo mi esfuerzo ha sido para encontrar la embarcación. Me estoy dando cuenta que es una labor dificilísima. En la zona hay muy pocos barcos con la autonomía para navegar tantas millas. También hay un problema con los seguros de las embarcaciones, que no cubren ciertas zonas de navegación, como Haití; Jamaica y algunos Cuba. Además si el barco tiene bandera USA prefieren evitar tocar ciertos países.. Los capitanes no están acostumbrados a navegar con instrumentos. Suelen salir en el día y navegan visualmente muy cerca de costa. No lo dicen abiertamente, pero me comentan los lugareños que tienen pánico de navegar por la noche. La razón es que hay muchos arrecifes y berreras de coral que hacen peligrosa la navegación nocturna. Y ya sabéis que necesito también las noches para hacer millas. A todo esto hay que añadir los piratas que aunque suena a otras épocas, son una realidad que se hace patente en estas aguas. Si a todo esto añadimos la mala mar que se hace habitual por estas latitudes, prefieren no complicarse la vida y rechazan cualquier oferta.. No va a ser fácil, pero lo voy a intentar con todas mis fuerzas..
