Os escribo estas líneas cuando son las 14:30 horas en las Islas Canarias. Esta mañana he tomado la decisión de seguir. He ido al banco y he enviado una transferencia al propietario del barco. Fernando y yo hemos comprado los últimos víveres frescos y voy a zarpar. Sigo triste pero sé que en cuanto esté en la mar todo cambiará. Tengo otra vez la ilusión que necesito aunque me siento un poco débil. Sobre todo moralmente. Demasiados golpes en poco tiempo. A partir de hoy solo podré escribir textos cortos cada 20 o 40 horas. Os contaré lo que ha sucedido en las últimas horas. Como navegaré día y noche no podré escribir textos todos los días; pero espero poder seguir con vosotros. Un abrazo muy fuerte y ¡hasta América! Una última cosa: acabo de abrir mi correo electrónico y me he encontrado uno muy especial que me ha llenado de emoción y ánimo. Es éste que os adjunto. I write these lines to You in the Canary Islands at 14:30. This morning I have made the decision to continue. I have gone to the bank and I have sent a transference to the proprietor of the boat. Fernando and I have bought the last fresh food and I am going to weigh anchor. I follow sad but I know that as soon as he is in the sea everything will change. I have the illusion again that I need although I feel a little weak. Mainly morally. Too many blows in just a short time. From now on I will be able to write short texts every 20 or 40 hours.
